Tesco wanted to shift perception around the quality of their food and stand out on social by tapping into trending Gen Z behaviours. Their existing agency content looked good but wasn’t delivering performance often missing algorithm-savvy execution and emotional storytelling. Tesco needed thumb-stopping, high-performing creator-led content that felt fresh, modern, and entertaining.
What We Did
We developed a campaign using our exclusive roster of food creators to concept, script and produce a series of short-form videos designed to boost Tesco’s relevance among Gen-Z audiences.
Leaning into the insight that young consumers are embracing their “hosting era”, we created multiple content strands tailored to key behaviours:
Enter Your Hosting Era – Positioned Tesco as the go-to for stress-free, IG-worthy gatherings with themed recipes and helpful hacks.
Better Than AI Challenge – Challenged creators to remake viral AI recipes using only real Tesco ingredients, sparking conversation and showcasing product quality.
Michelin Meal Deal – A humorous, high-quality twist on the classic Tesco meal deal, turning grab-and-go favourites into gourmet-style plates.
Our team led everything from brief development and ideation to creator management, content strategy, and delivery across multiple platforms.
